The school is located in Treviso, just a short distance from Venice. Treviso is the city of the water and the flour mills. Risen in pre-roman age as a village of “Paleoveneti” on three heights placed in the pressed ones of the Sile river, the ancient “Tarvisium” became then town hall of the roman Empire. It was however in the Middle Ages that the city trades knew an incredibile development, becoming larger itself in the dimensions and becoming rich of magnificent frescoed houses, than them were worth the nickname of painted city.
The “trevigiano” living is from centuries synonymous of joyful life (the P. Germi director pictured it in the “Signori e Signore” movie); therefore the city spirit of festivities and concerts that recall within its walls people from the whole Italy. Known in the world as well as for the genuine kitchen that for the good wine (like the “radicchio”, the “tiramisù”, the “prosecco” and the “cabernet”), it is before also in the sport (enough to remember the Benetton basketball team and the Sisley volleyball one). Cited from the great Dante Alighieri in the “Commedia” and from the famous Giovanni Comisso still today, Treviso maintains an evocative aspect where, beside the places more it attends to you, hide smaller alleys that maintain to the fascination of one rich historical city unchanged.
